Bayer Corp. Consumer Care Div is established in 1 January 1995. The consumer care division is Bayer Corp Consumer Care Div the division is based is Morris Township, NJ. Some of the most trusted and recognizable brands in the world today come from the Bayer Consumer Care portfolio of over the counter products. They include the company's flagship brand, Bayer Aspirin, Phillips' Milk of Magnesia, Midol, Alka Seltzer, Alka Seltzer Plus, Aleve and One a Day and Flintstones vitamins. Bayer's Consumer Care Division was created in 1994, following the acquisition of the North American over the counter drug business of Sterling Winthrop, which expanded the company's product portfolio. The acquisition returned to Bayer the North American rights to Bayer Aspirin, as well as rights to the Bayer name and trademark in North America. It also led to the U.S. Company’s name change in April 1995 from Miles to Bayer Corporation. In May 2000, Bayer Group, based in Leverkusen, Germany, also named the Morristown location headquarters for its Worldwide Business Group Consumer Care, which has more than 5,000 employees around the globe. Bayer Corp is known by their powerful brands, which compete in the top Over the Counter categories.
