Advertising Information for rxboomer
Block Drug Company, Inc. is now GlaxoSmithKline consumer health care. GlaxoSmithKline recognizes and applauds the efforts of dental professionals who give their time, energy and talent to improving the lives of people in their communities.

It has awarded a 250,000 dollars grant to the American Dental Association to examine access to dental care and disparities in oral health among older adults. These topics are expected to become critical health issues as the baby boomer generation begins to retire in 2011.

One of their first endeavors was supporting an Elders' Oral Health Summit held September 13 and 14 at Boston University. Disparities in oral health and issues surrounding access to dentistry for older Americans, the fastest growing US population segment, are critical issues facing the dental profession.

Dental industry experts from GSK regularly take the time to discuss issues and share insights at local, regional and national events. Find out when GSK dental professionals will be speaking in your area.

Block Drug Company, Inc’s products are Aquafresh, Commit, Gly-Oxide, NicoDerm CQ, Nicorette, Oasis, Polident, Super PoliGrip, and Sensodyne.

GlaxoSmithKline Oral Care understands the vital role played by dental and hygiene conferences across the country each year. That is why they join you in supporting the conferences that inform, unite and further the oral care industry. By raising awareness of the challenges that dental professionals and their patients face they hope to continue to be a valuable resource for practitioners by sharing innovative solutions and products that help people do more, feel better and live longer.
