Roche started operations as F. Hoffmann-La Roche & Co in 1896. The business started when Fritz Hoffmann-La Roche, a pioneer of the pharmaceutical industry, founded the company. Those acquisitions allow Roche to be the number one in innovation and developing solutions for many patients around the world.
Today, Roche employs more than 65,000 people around the world. It sells its products approximately to150 countries. Roche works beyond people needs and expectations. Its international presence allows this company to be recognized as the most important company in Europe. Its headquarters offices are located in Basel, Switzerland. From there, the company provides support to all its subsidiaries. Its healthcare business places this company at the top of the industry. Besides, the company is considered as leader in cancer treatments, virology and transplantation.
