Now users can search code descriptions using the logical operators AND, OR AND NOT, and wildcard operators ‘*’ and ‘?’ to find any combination of keywords, phrases, and word fragments in both CPT® and ICD-9 code descriptions – just like internet search engines. The new search tools will find codes from code fragments as well.
