Nexium: Triumph over Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease

Advertising Information for rxboomer
Nexium or Esomeprazole Magnesium alleviates stomachache and other signs attributable to the backflow of stomach acid into the esophagus or the canal to the stomach. This condition is identified as gastroesophageal reflux disease, and it is also set to heal the erosive esophagitis damages. Prearranged together with the antibiotics Amoxil and Biaxin, Nexium is also hardened to care for the illness that causes most duodenal ulcers that are ulcers located just outside the exit of the stomach.

Nexium reduces the production of stomach acid. It comes in capsules that must be swallowed completely. It is important that you avoid chewing or crushing the pills. It must be consumed one hour before food as a minimum. If you cannot swallow the whole capsule, you must open the pill and cautiously empty the pellets on one spoon of applesauce. The applesauce should not be hot. Combine the pellets, and then ingest the applesauce right away, without masticate. If you miss one dose, never combine two doses at the same time, just skip one and keep going. Nexium must be stored in a securely closed container with room temperature.

Some of the side effects are: headache, abdominal pain, diarrhea, acne, chest pain, hot flushes, sweating, worsening of depression, painful urination, rigidity, weakness, vision changes, runny nose, menstrual problems, loss of appetite, liver problems, lymph node problems, irregular heartbeat, confusion, throat problems, sore throat, sinus problems, worsening of arthritis, migraine, nervousness, fungal infections, and stomach bleeding. Some other drugs similar to Nexium are Warfarin (Coumadin), Iron salts (Ferro-Sequels), Diazepam (Valium), Ketoconazole (Nizoral) and Digoxin (Lanoxin).
