Robaxin (Methocarbamol): Help you Relieve Muscular Injuries
Robaxin is a muscle relaxant used to relieve muscular damages, strains and sprains; however, it is not a substitute for the physical therapy or rest required for the adequate healing but it helps to relieve muscle injuries temporarily. The dosage of this medicament is divided, a special dosage for adults and a special dosage for children. The recommended dosage for adults is of three pills four times per day, but the dosage for children is currently being studied.
As you know, all the medicines around the world have side effects; however, some have more than others. Some of the secondary effects that Robaxin has are drowsiness, blurred, low pressure and nausea. Other effects that could be experienced by using Robaxin are allergic reaction, amnesia, irregular taste, dizziness, double vision, fever, headache, nausea, indigestion and others. In case you experience one or more of these symptoms by using Robaxin, contact your doctor and ask him/her about it.
Nevertheless, these effects can not be predictable, that is why if you suffer a side effect by the use of Robaxin, only your doctor could determine if it is safe that you continue using this medicine. Another important situation is that sometimes people forget to take a dose, in case this happens you must follow the instructions, doctors say that you must take it if you forget a dose and only one hour has passed. But if you do not remember it is better for you to skip it and keep the regular schedule, but never ever take two doses at once.
