Skelaxin (Metaxalone): Relieving Muscular Pain
Metaxalone, known also with its commercial name as Skelaxin is a muscle relaxant which works blocking the impulses of the nerves that are sent to the brain, this to relieve the pain that people suffer in some muscles due to strains, sprains and spinal injuries. It is used along with physical therapy and rest to treat muscular injuries, as other medicaments, it can also be used to treat other injuries, but you must ask your doctor if you can use it for other things.
You have to take Skelaxin according to the instructions of your doctor, in case you do not understand these directions ask your doctor no matter what your doubt is. Remember; keep the drug in a safe place and out of the reach of children. In case you miss a dose, do not worry, just take it as soon as you remember, but if the next dose is near, do not take two pills at once, just skip it and continue with the normal schedule.
