Flexeril (Cyclobenzaprine): Relieving Your Muscular Pain
Flexeril, the brand name used to Cyclobenzaprine, is a medicament used to relax and relieve the pain of some muscles caused by sprains, strains and spinal damages. Nevertheless, this medication is not part of the exercise, physical therapy or any other treatment that your physician suggests to solve your problem. This medicine works on the central nervous system producing a relaxing effect on the injured muscles. As other medications, Flexeril can be used in other treatments, but you must ask your doctor before.
This drug (as others) is available just with prescription of a doctor, and it is presented in tablets. The dose is different and varies according to the ages of the people. The dose for adults is normally of 10 mg three times per day, and the dose for children is regularly established by the doctors.
