Avinza (Morphine): Powerful Pain Reliever
Morphine is a drug that is present in many others. One of those is Avinza, which is a medication that is used as a pain reliever. Morphine or Avinza forms part of a big group of drugs that are known as narcotic analgesics (all used as pain relievers). It can be used for other functions, but ask your doctor if you want or need to use it for other things. Avinza is a very effective pain reliever, but as many other drugs; it can not be used by all people.
Ask your doctor if you can take Avinza in case you have suffered or suffer kidney illness, asthma, Addison’s illness, liver illness, urinary retention and others. Sometimes, these cases does not mean that you can not take Avinza at all, but maybe that you could require a lower dosage of the drug, also, if you are younger than 18, you are likely to suffer side effects of the medication.
If your doctor prescribes you to take morphine, follow the directions that he/she gives you. In case you forget a dose, take it as soon you remember it, but never take a double dose because it could be very harmful. Then continue the normal schedule.
As with many other medications, Avinza could present several side effects, some of these possible effects are itching, dizziness, decreased sex drive, sweating, vomiting, decreased appetite, nausea and others. If you suffer one or several of these symptoms, contact your doctor or pharmacist and ask him/her about it.
